Antoine Boyer a bu aux sources les plus authentiques du jazz manouche, en étant notamment le disciple des maîtres Mandino Reinhardt et Francis Alfred Moerman.Il a été invité dans la plupart des festivals majeurs consacrés au swing manouche, tant aux États-Unis qu’en Europe, et a partagé la scène avec des artistes de renom tels que Yamandu Costa, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre
ou encore Raphaël Faÿs.
Parallèlement, il s’est initié très tôt à la guitare classique à Paris, aux côtés de Gérard Abiton.Lauréat de nombreux prix prestigieux tels que le European Guitar Award (Dresde) ou le Concours de Guitare Classique de Montigny, il est également le premier guitariste à avoir été nommé “Révélation” par les deux magazines Guitare Classique et Guitar Acoustic.
Naviguant avec aisance entre musique classique, jazz et musiques du monde, et riche de nombreuses collaborations, Antoine Boyer s’est forgé un style singulier.
Sa virtuosité et la diversité de ses techniques de jeu lui permettent de tisser des passerelles uniques entre les différents univers musicaux qu’il explore avec sensibilité.
Antoine Boyer has drawn from the most authentic sources of Gypsy jazz, studying in particular with masters Mandino Reinhardt and Francis Alfred Moerman.He has been featured in most of the major Gypsy swing festivals across the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Yamandu Costa, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, and Raphaël Faÿs.
At the same time, he began studying classical guitar at an early age in Paris under the guidance of Gérard Abiton.He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the European Guitar Award (Dresden) and the Montigny Classical Guitar Competition. He is also the first guitarist to be named “Revelation” by both Guitare Classique and Guitar Acoustic magazines.
Navigating between classical, jazz, and world music, and enriched by his many musical collaborations, his virtuosity and wide range of techniques have enabled him to develop a distinctive style that uniquely blends the various musical worlds he has encountered.
